Welcome to Class 4

In September, Year 4 will be starting the year learning in more depth about the Bronze Age and Iron Age, comparing life to that in the Stone Age. During this theme, we will be drawing on prior learning to make comparisons and contrasts to the different periods looking at how the discovery of new metals shaped the way they lived.

Key Information

PE will be each Friday. Children should come to school dressed in their kits on PE days.

Reading books are changed on Friday. Please make sure that reading books are brought into school each day, but especially on Fridays. Please listen to your child read their book at home and record comments each time to ensure your child can reach their Home Reading awards. Each week, please choose one of the reading questions from the front of their reading record book and write your child’s response in the Comment box.
