Thank you for visiting our website. If you are thinking of sending your child to Diggle School, be it a new starter in reception or an in-year transfer, we would love you to contact us.

We invite parents to come and visit the school during a nomal school day at a mutually convenient time. A member of staff - usually the Head Teacher - will show you round the school and answer any questions you have.

To get a flavour of our school, we suggest you have a look at the Diggle Star, our weekly newsletter as well as the Clubs and Activities pages. Also have a look at our Facebook Page where we regularly post updates of our classroom antics.

Here is a video prepared by our Reception Class teacher, Mrs Bradbury, during the Covid Lockdown to help our new families who were unable to visit the school in person transition to Diggle School. This video will give you an insight into our Reception Class and how it works. For reception applications, see Oldham Council Primary Admissions. Our Admissions Policy can be found on the Policies page.

If your child is already at primary school and you are thinking of moving them to Diggle School, have a look at the Class Pages within the Children’s section to see what the class has been up to recently. For in-year transfers, please follow the Oldham Council In-Year Transfers process.

Each September, we write to the preschool parents at local nurseries inviting them to come and visit us – that letter can be found here.

While in lockdown 2, we all had a bit of fun learning the Jerusalema dance that was going viral around the world – see how we did below. It was a lovely collective activity where everyone could get involved, whether in school or home learning.

Well done everyone!
